Dear Reader, We are pleased to bring to you the Match2BioSME newsletter. This is the fourth in a series of four newsletters which will examine how to get the most out of the information available on Match2BioSME’s website - http://www.match2biosme.com from the “FP7 track”. In this newsletter we will briefly present how to define an FP7 project. This newsletter contains information about the latest partnering event which took place in Roskilde, Denmark; and also the upcoming partnering event – the Healthcare Forum which will take place on March 30th and 31st in Rome, Italy. You can find more information on the “FP7 track” – shown at the top of the Match2BioSME website (http://www.match2biosme.com) A good part of this information is available on the internet, but highly scattered and busy users like SME owners and senior staff don’t have the time to search for this. In an effort to make it easier for industrial biotech SMEs to source EU funding, Match2BioSME has gathered all the information together in one place. The Sustainable Energy & Environment Forum
The Sustainable Energy & Environment Forum partnering event took place on October 21 & 22 in Roskilde, Denmark at the University of Roskilde. Being a great success, the event saw presentations of 31 SMEs and 16 research projects from all over Europe and across sustainable energy & environment related sectors such as Wave Energy & Water, Solar & Photovoltaic and Bio Fuel & Oil. Among the high-quality participants, companies such as Wave Star Energy (DK) and Epuramat (DE) presented their activities and networked with international research organisations such as Riso DTU - National Laboratory for Sustainable Energy (DK), Fondazione Bruno Kessler (IT) and Aarhus Univeristy (SE). General feedback on the networking opportunities where highly positive and a next edition in 2010 will be announced very soon.
